Decorative Concrete Design & Build

Our goal is simple: select a decorative concrete option that elevates the aesthetic of your home.

What is Decorative Concrete?

It involves various techniques such as staining or stamping to create unique patterns, textures, and colors in concrete. Essentially, it’s about turning plain concrete into a stylish and aesthetically pleasing element.

Opting for decorative concrete on your patio, pool deck, or driveway enhances the overall aesthetic appeal of your outdoor space while providing practical benefits. Unlike traditional plain concrete, decorative concrete offers a wide range of customizable design options with various textures, patterns, and colors. Beyond its visual appeal, decorative concrete is durable and budget-friendly, providing a stylish yet practical solution for high-traffic areas. It transforms outdoor spaces into inviting and visually stunning areas for relaxation and entertainment.

Decorative Concrete Installation Process

1. Surface Prep

While the surface may be altered; the excavation, forming, elevations and raw materials will remain largely unchanged.

2. Tailoring

Each decorative concrete offering has a place in the market and our goal is to determine what fits best in your space.

3. Crafting

All decorative surfaces aren’t created equal and our time-tested artistic techniques will ensure we achieve your desired aesthetic.

4. Walkthrough

Decorative surfaces all require some degree of maintenance and we’ll talk in great detail about what’s necessary moving forward.

Decorative Concrete Costs

There are many site-specific variables to consider before an accurate price can be determined. We’ll need to understand if an existing material is being demoed, how much excavation is required, the depth of the slab, and whether there are sprinkler or utility lines that we’ll need to work around. All of that needs to be addressed before we even begin addressing the decorative solution and final aesthetic you’ll select. Once all of those items have been nailed down, we’re generally able to provide you with a comprehensive estimate at our initial consultation.

In almost every case, some sort of decorative surface will be allowed. We’ll be happy to dig in on the specifics once a desired path forward has been established.

We’d always avoid the word match but we’re confident we can find something that compliments your existing space.

We’ve completed thousands of decorative surfaces over the past decade and - many of our crews - had decades of experience before that.

Most often in Texas, we’ll see stained, stamped, pea gravel and various overlay products.

Anytime you are pouring a new slab of concrete.

It varies greatly but, generally speaking, a decorative concrete slab will be a lesser investment than a higher-end paver patio.

We recommend a garden hose, soap and a little elbow grease. If we install your project, we provide a care guide that details other methods that we support that won’t damage the surface.
